The Journal of International Academic Research (JIAR) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal, published online in open-access mode. The primary purpose is to allow authors to retain their intellectual property rights without assignment of copyright. The journal charges no subscription or pay-per-view fees to readers and no submission or publication fees to authors. It follows a rigorous editorial process to ensure quality and relevance of what it publishes along with editorial support to authors. The journal exists to develop our understanding of research as a type of practice, so as to extend and enhance that practice in multiple domains.
The Journal of International Academic Research (JIAR) publishes empirical research that tests, extends, or builds theories and contributes to business practices in disciplines that relate to business. Submissions must extend theory in ways that permit the development of testable knowledge-based claims. The focus should be on reproducibility using accepted empirical methods including but not limited to qualitative, quantitative, field, laboratory, and combination methods.
